Q: 2004 F150 XLT Extended Cab 4x4 for 12,900?
Should i buy this even with gas how it is it has 57,000 miles and seems to be in really good condition it is an autocheck one owner. This will pretty well take all the money I have been saveing all through high school. It is a huge decision what does everyone think?

A: Its a pretty good price for 2.50 gas at 4.00 its up to you. There are a lot of those deals out there, dealers are getting massacred.

Q: How should i customize my 2004 F150?
I have a 2wd 2004 F150 XLT Super Cab with the 4.6. Its currently stock, with chrome bumpers and the stock honeycomb grille. The only add on is the black running boards. I like the sports truck look but i don't know where to start with my limited budget

A: They get approx. 15mpg in the city and 19mpg on the highway. They are average offroad without changing some suspension components.

Q: can you replace the f150 fx4 grill with the lariat or xlt grill? If so how much would it be?

A: The grill openings are all the same. The design of the grill and how it attaches are the only difference. Just make sure you have all the hardware for the grill you want to install.

Q: whats wrong with my truck? video included?
it just started doing this today? its cold out but i don't think that would do any thing? i did put in some fuel injection cleaner a few days ago. or maybe a spark plug went bad? also, no check engine light on. its a 2004 F150 XLT http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6RNQr7ZuNY

A: ok.. fuel pump could be at fault, fuel pump relay, I wasn't able to hear if the fuel pump spun off when you turned the key. a bad cam or crank sensor would've set the check light on. could also be the ignition module, which isn't monitored by the car computer. could also be the inertia switch, check your owner's manual as to where it's located.

Q: Where can I find the factory installed options on my "new" used truck?
Also, I need a maintenance schedule. It was gone when I bought the truck and the owner's manual is for all models. (2004 Ford F150 Crew Cab 4x4, XLT)

Q: F150 4'' or 6'' lift?
I drive on the road 95% of the time but want to lift my truck up (suspension lift). Would a 4'' lift be more practical? I like the look of the 6'', but I'm also considering the 4''. Any opinions? (It's a 2004 F-150 XLT 4x4)

A: i have a f-150 with a 4 inch lift and 33 inch tires. ( I live in Texas) It depends on what size tires you are gonna get, both will look good. You should also put a 4.10 gear in it after you lift it to maximize power and the life of the tranny.
