Q: What diesel motor should i put on my 2006 king-ranch F150?
Just give me your input what i should do?
A: Swapping from a gas to a diesel engine is a very complicated task. Nothing is really the same and the F-150 never had a diesel for a reason. The F-150 is a fine truck but normally due to vibration and the increased torque no makes a 1/2 ton Diesel truck. You will need new fuel tank vastly different electrical system, In addition to the engine and transmission, The ECM will also not work. The suspension is also not up to the added weight of the diesel.
Q: My 2006 Ford F150 King Ranch requires tires. Does reducing rim size provide more tire size options?
A: Depends on what size rims you have currently. There is more than one size of factory rim for the King Ranch in 06. By the time you buy new wheels you'd spend more than just buying the tires in most cases. The smallest size you can use is a 17x7.5 rim to clear the brake system on the front. Assuming you have a 4x2.
Q: What kind of vehicle do you drive?
and what color? also, do you like it?
I drive a 2006 F150 King Ranch-white, with an american flag in the back window.
A: 1997 Chevy S10 extended cab 4x4 pickup truck. Color red.
I'm a pickup man, baby!
I'd like it better if it was more reliable and didn't cost so much to run & repair, though...
Q: What to do about loud clunking noise from engine after picking up Ford truck from dealer service center?
I bought a 2002 Ford F150 King Ranch in September 2006. I drove it about 4,000 miles with no problems except for a slight hesitation when driving between 35-40 miles an hour. On Sunday, the Service Engine Soon light came on. I didn't drive it after that except to take it to the dealer for service on Tuesday. They said the #1 and #8 cylinders were misfiring. They replaced 2 coils and the fuel filter. They also gave it a tune up. I picked up the car, paid them $780.00. I drove it about twenty miles and the engine suddenly gave a loud clucking sound. It continued to clunk while it was turned on. I parked it and got a ride home. Now what? What does it mean, what can I do?
A: You should call them and have them pay for the towing. If they did something to it, they are liable. And should be happy to fix it.
