then theirs the 5.4 liter motor for the f150 and that puts out 300 hp , so what is it that makes the same exact mustang GT motor and f150 4.6 motor have different horsepower. is it the tranny?
A: Easily explained. The 248 HP 4.6L in the F-150 is the 2 valve version. The Mustang GT has the 3 valve version. The Mustang also have variable valve timing. The standard 2 valve 4.6 does not. The 3 valve 4.6L is available in the 2009 F-150 it produces around 292HP in truck trim due an intake manifold with longer runners.

A: I have a 2001 Ford Escape with the Mach Sound System, and the sound system in your truck should be the same.
Obvious answer: Turn up the bass on your head unit (like I said, obvious answer)
Not so obvious answer: Take off the panel that's covering the subwoofer. There should be 1 or 2 knobs on the amp, depending on the setup of your sub. If you have just one knob, that's the volume control. If you have 2 knobs, one is volume and the other one should be un-labeled (I haven't touched this one, I don't know what it does). I would also check the connections of the sub to the amp to make sure that the connection hasn't come undone, or a wire hasn't come loose.
If you really wanna start taking your truck apart answer: If that still doesn't work, I would take the head unit out and make sure that the wires for the subs are still connected. They have a tendency to fall out. (If they're not apart of the wire harness, they should be on a grey wire harness with four white wires)

A: Check ebay for a lug nut bolt circle converter/adapter. It converts the bolt circle of one rim to fit another rim. Make sure that you have clearances to use the f150 rims. If the wheels/rims have a different sized diameter (15" to 16") you will have to get new wheels/rims. Also, make sure you get the correct tire size so that they will not rub or bind. Best of luck.

A: Well you can always use an adapter from the company PAC called a (SWIX), but you won't be able to use hardly any of the features of the radio. The only other solution is to purchase the add-on steering wheel remote from Pioneer model#CD-R55 that is made for use with the AVIC-D3.

A: the original stock exhaust is the best
PLEASE don't have some dumb mechanic chop off and cut off the stock, welded, stainless steel exhaust and install a cheap, clamp on pipe that's going to rust out and fall off in less than a year!

the original stainless steel exhaust with the welded seams is designed to last the life of the truck!
