A: In 2004 ford marketed two generations of f-150, generation X (1997-2004), which added a heritage badge for 2004, and generation XI (2004-2008).
If you are comparing two generation XI f-150, then verry little is different, maybe just a few options have been added over the years such as a rear backup camera and increased hp.
If you are comparing a generation X and a generation XI, then many has changed since the vehicle has been redesigned completely. New features on the generation X include different styleing from superduty cousins, more power and higher saftey and quality ratings then the previous generation.
Remember supercrew specifies the cab style, in this case four doors. Larriat is the second highest trim level, the highest being king ranch package.
Q: Can someone help me on instructions on removing the whole grille on a 2004 - 2008 Ford F150?
i have a 06 f150 and i bought a lariat chrome grille i have a xlt, how does the grille come off, the f-150 are the same shape in 2004 2005 2006 2007 and 2008 so if anyone has any info on how to remove the whole grille it would be great and very helpful. thanks to anyone who replies.
A: Very simple, open your hood and you will see some screws around the grille, simply remove them, there are two arms sticking out the top of the grille pointing back at the cab, remove them as well and the grill will slide out. Shouldn't take you more than 20 minutes to get everything changed over.

I've thinking of selling my 2004 f150 crew cab lariat and getting a 2008 challenger? How much is my truck worth? Is the new challenger a good car?
A: Impossible to answer on here. Your F150 will be worth more in some areas, less in others, etc. Also, we have no idea what options or packages are on the truck, mileage, etc.
And good luck getting a 2008 Challenger. Most (if not all) are already spoken for.
Q: help...im trying to figure out how to finance a new truck when i cant get a loan?
i have a 2001 4dr tacoma in perfect condition and im trying to trade it in for a 2008 f150 lariat..the truck is listed as 27000..and ill get 11000 for trade in..the problem is that im a college student and im a commercial fisherman..which bank dont consider a "job" or something..so i cant get a loan..and i just had to do a collateral against my savings for a new motor for my boat so what should i do?. i need this truck so i can pull the boat because its to big for a v6..i make about 3k a month but i have too many other bills and school to pay in cash..any advice?
A: Why do you NEED a NEW truck? If you don't have a job, you certainly don't need payments!
Even if you do have a job, going inot debt on a depreciating asset is a horrible idea.
If you must have a bigger truck then find a good used one for around $11,000. If it is more, then save up the difference.
